๐Ÿพ Yosemite Celtic Festival Pet Policy

We love our four-legged friends and welcome well-behaved pets to share in the merriment of the Yosemite Celtic Festival!
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests — both human and furry — please review and follow our pet policy below.

๐Ÿ• 1. Friendly, Leashed Dogs Welcome

  • Dogs are welcome throughout most outdoor areas of the festival.
  • All dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than six (6) feet at all times.
  • Owners must keep their pets under control and accept full responsibility for their animal’s behavior.

๐Ÿงน 2. Responsible Pet Ownership

  • Please clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of waste properly in marked receptacles.
  • Bring your own waste bags — stations will be available throughout the fairgrounds.
  • Pets may not be left unattended or in vehicles at any time.

โš ๏ธ 3. Behavior & Safety

  • Any animal that displays unruly, disruptive, or aggressive behavior toward people or other animals will be asked to leave the festival immediately without refund.
  • Examples include lunging, excessive barking, growling, or other threatening behavior.
  • Festival staff reserve the right to refuse entry to any animal deemed unsafe or unsuitable for a crowded, public environment.

๐Ÿšซ 4. Restricted Areas

For everyone’s safety and to comply with health regulations:

  • Pets are not permitted in food service areas, food vendor booths, or any designated dining spaces.
  • Pets are not permitted in Tea Party events or inside the Royal Court.

๐Ÿพ 5. Other Pets

  • While we love all creatures great and small, only dogs are recommended for this environment.
  • Non-canine pets (cats, birds, reptiles, etc.) may be denied entry for safety or welfare reasons.

๐Ÿ’› 6. Service Animals

Registered service animals are always welcome in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Please note that
emotional support animals and untrained comfort pets do not qualify as service animals under ADA guidelines.
