Pie Eating Contest

It’s fast, it’s funny, and it’s delicious. Contestants square up for a hands-behind-the-back race to the last crumb, while the crowd counts down and cheers on every bite. The Pie Eating Contest is a family favorite that guarantees big smiles (and bigger messes). We provide the pies and the napkins; these teams will bring their competitive spirit. Spectators will want to gather early for the best view—and to root for their favorite pastry champion.

Meet the Contestants!  In this corner we have....

General Rules

  1. Each contestant will be given one pie of equal size.
  2. In the adult division, hands must remain behind your back at all times. Breaking this rule is immediate disqualification.
  3. Contestants must eat directly from the pie tin—no picking it up!
  4. The winner is the first to finish their pie completely, as determined by the judge.
  5. Pies must be swallowed, not hidden, tossed, or dropped. Judges may call for a "mouth check" before declaring a winner.
  6. In the event of a tie, a “sudden-death bite” (first bite to the bottom crust) will determine the champion.
  7. Judges’ decisions are final—arguing may result in being pelted with leftover pies!
