About Ca-Bear Toss
The caber toss is one of the most recognizable events in the Highland Games, requiring athletes to lift and turn a long wooden caber using strength, balance, and technique.
The Ca-Bear Toss gives younger festival guests their own playful version of that tradition.
Instead of a full-sized caber, children get to send a bear flying, creating a kid-friendly experience inspired by the energy and spectacle of Highland athletics. It gives young guests a chance to step up, compete, laugh, and hear their own cheers from the crowd.
