Try your hand at two of the oldest warrior arts—archery and axe throwing. Whether you’re a seasoned marksman or a first-time thrower, these experiences invite festivalgoers of all ages to channel their inner Highland hero. Guided by skilled instructors, guests can safely test their aim and feel the rush of mastering a time-honored Celtic tradition.

The battle is real—and so is the armor. The fearless fighters of Get Medieval return with thrilling demonstrations of armored foot combat, engaging in full-contact duels using historically accurate weapons and techniques. This is no choreographed performance; it’s a raw, visceral encounter that brings medieval combat to life right before your eyes.

Presiding over the tournaments is the radiant Mary, Queen of Scots herself—a symbol of Celtic nobility, resilience, and grace. As monarch of both Scotland and France, Mary reigned during a time when pageantry, politics, and martial displays intertwined. Join her court and be swept into the grandeur of the age.  Visit the royal court and receive the Queen's favors.
